Reverse Mortgages

Reverse mortgages aren’t for everyone, but they do have their application. They are only eligible for primary residences. In short, they work like the old negative amortization loans, where you’re borrowing against your equity and the balance owed will grow over time, until you pass, at which time the loan is due.

If you’re sixty two or older, have a lot of equity in your property, and could benefit from no monthly mortgage payments, getting monthly cash flow from the equity in your home, or a lump sum payment from the equity in your home, this may be an option worth considering.
