Her family has lived in El Dorado County since 1953 when they established Mott Roofing. After graduating from El Dorado High School, she worked for Wells Fargo while studying Business Administration at CA State University Sacramento. She enjoyed helping her clients and community as a Branch Manager spanning across various locations within El Dorado, Amador, and Calaveras County.

Genelle is married, has 2 children, and spends her free time at a variety of sporting and music events.
